Fall of Song is a 40 foot breath-taking plunge waterfall in the Castle in the Clouds Conservation Area. This waterfall is most certainly worth the short 0.1 mile hike from the auto road up to the castle. One of the best waterfalls in the state of NH!
They have opened a 0.8 mile trail called Brook Walk right near the Fall of Song that continues along passing many other waterfalls: Bridle Veil Falls, Roaring Falls, Twin Falls, Whittier Falls. If you are looking for a nice scenic (short) hike that includes multiple waterafalls, this couldn't be more perfect!
To get to the Castle in the Clouds auto road:
From Moultonborough, turn south on Rt 109 and drive 2 miles. Turn left on Rt 171. Castle in the Clouds is on the left in about 2 miles. Take the auto road.
