There are many lists to choose from when hiking in New England! Many of the mountains are on multiple lists. Patches are available for purchase after completing some of the lists below. .

48 New Hampshire 4,000 footers

Contains 48 separate mountains in New Hampshire. A patch is available upon completion.

67 New England 4,000 footers
Contains 67 separate mountains in New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. A patch is available upon completion.

New Hampshire Hundred Highest
Contains the 48 New Hampshire 4,000 footers + 52 other peaks.

New England Fifty Finest
Contains fifty mountains with topographic prominence between 1,820 feet and 6,150'.

52 With a view
Contains 52 peaks all under 4,000 feet that offer great views. A patch is available upon completing this list.

Trailwrights 72 summit club
To receive a patch and certificate of completion, one must hike the 72 peaks on the list as well as complete 72 hours of documented trail work.

New Hampshire 4,000 footers in Winter season

This is the same list as the NH48 above, but they must be hiked in the Winter season. A patch is available upon completion.

New England 4,000 footers in Winter season
This is the same list as the NE67 above, but they must be hiked in the Winter season. A patch is available upon completion.

New England Hundred highest
Contains the 67 New England 4,000 footers + 33 other peaks. A patch is available upon completion.

New England Hundred highest in Winter season
This is the same list as the NEHH above, but they must be hiked in the Winter season. A patch is available upon completion.

Northeast 111
It actually contains 115 peaks: The 67 New England 4,000 footers + the Adirondack High Peaks + Slide and Hunter Mountain in New York.

48x12 "The Grid"
This is the same list as the New Hampshire 4,000 footres, but you must hike the list 12 times! There is a patch available if you complete this list.

Red Lining
This challenging list requires hikers to hike ALL the trails in the AMC White Mountain Guide. A patch is awarded to those who have completed this list.

The Terrifying 25
This list includes slides, rock scrambles and boulder caves that can be found along maintained trails within the White Mountains of NH. A patch is awarded to those who complete the list.

Belknap Range

This range contains 12 peaks that must be hiked in order to receive a hiker recognition patch.

LRCT / Castle in the Clouds Conservation area
This hiking area consists of 28 miles of trails and 5 mountains. There is a patch to be earned by hiking this.

NH Fire Tower Quest
There are 16 fire towers standing in the state of NH. This list requires hikers to hike to 5 of the mountains. A patch is available when you complete this list.
