Carter-Moriah Range, New Hampshire Information |
The Carter-Moriah Range of the White Mountains is located in Coos County, New Hampshire. It includes 9 mountains, 4 of which are considered 4,000 footers. Carter Dome is the tallest mountain in the range standing at 4,832 feet. It drains to the Northwest into the Peabody River and to the Southeast into the Wild River, both of which flow into the Androscoggin River, then the Atlantic Ocean.
While not strictly part of the Carter-Moriah Range, Wildcat Mountain (and Wildcat Mountain, D Peak), stand Southwest of Carter Dome facing it.
